As
we are a general haulier, we have to have a large variety of trailers
to cover all aspects of our work. These trailer types include:
- Ordinary
flats up to 13.6 metres long;
- Curtain-sided,
again at 13.6 metres long, but with a postless internal body and
a clear loading height of 3.0 metres;
- Skeletal
trailers that can transport 40/45 foot containers with a maximum
container and load weight of 31 tonnes;

PSK's
that again can carry 40/45 foot containers and are also fitted
with wells for the carriage of Steel coils;

Extendables
that transport individual lengths up to 20 metres;

Coil
carriers up to 28 tonne load capacity.

All
of our trailers are tri-axle on air suspension, the most recent
acquisitions are fitted with SAF Intradisk+2 Axles and E.B.S. (electronic
braking system) to ensure road friendly transport and maximum braking
efficiency. In 2004 there were 30 curtain-sided trailers added to
the fleet as part of the ongoing replacement programme.
